Web Download and Update of the Palm Application =================== On the e-WorkOrders Plus Admin view, download the palm applications and conduits to the woplus conduit directory, typically C:\Palm\woplus. Palm Update =================== - Upload any completed PM or Work Order information before performing application update. - Write down the current preferences settings for the woPlus and woPlus PM applications. They will be overwritten when the applications are updated. - Install woPlus.PRC, pm.PRC to the Palm(this is Work Orders Plus). Run Programs - Palm Destop - Palm Quick Install. Use the File Add files option to add woPlus.PRC, pm.PRC for installing. - Close HotSync Manager by right clicking on it's icon in the System Tray and selecting Exit. - Restart HotSync Manager from Programs - Palm Destop - HotSync Manager. - HotSync the Palm to complete installation. Once the application has been installed on the Palm, you must set up the user preferences in woPlus. - Start woPlus on the Palm - Click the Menu button (circle under the Home circle -- lower left corner) - Select Preferences from the Menu - User, Client, and Password must match exactly (this is case sensitive) what the user uses to log in via the web. - Server should be www.e-workordersplus.com - Port should be 80 - UploadURL should be /woPlus/WOUpload (again, make sure the case matches exactly) - PalmOs should be the version of the Palm OS - click Save - The installed version of woPlus can be viewed by selecting the menu item Options - About woPlus.
